Creating a Quick and Easy Photo Display

Creating a Quick and Easy Photo Display

Do you have tons of photos but don't know how to display them? Maybe you just like change? In just a few steps you can create a photo display suitable for all of the above.

  1. Choose A Theme – choosing a theme creates a story line and the photos you choose to put in it create the chapters. Try themes like vintage photos, black and white, children, family or a vacation.
  2. Print – sort through those digital files stored on your hard drive and choose a few for the display. Then head for your local photo kiosk and print them off. Usually only a few cents each, it's not likely to break the bank.
  3. wood slat floor screen Choose Your Background - my display is a room divider screen from Wicker Emporium. It employed the use of sticky tack as a non-destructive adhesive. For a more permanent arrangement, a dab of hot glue would be more secure.Using a room divider screen gives you the option of placing the whole display against a wall, or actually using it for its intended purpose. Other options might include a bulletin board, an old wooden door or an interesting piece of bulky furniture.
  4. Arrange Them – Play with it and see what works for you. Use some tape to temporarily adhere the photos until you find an arrangement to your liking. Place some level and some partially rotated to create interest. Try to use odd numbers of images or arrange them chronologically if it's appropriate to your story. The most important thing is to have fun with it.
