There are many places to become inspired when working on a new interior decorating project; a single piece of furniture, art, travel and textiles. The list goes on and on.
A colleague of mine, Debra Darlington of Darlington Group, recently redesigned her kitchen and her inspiration came from the unique and lovely aqua leather bar stools from Wicker Emporium. Deb won the stools in a contest and thus was able to use them as a starting point for her gorgeous and glamorous kitchen reno.
Another aspect that lends to the expensive look of the kitchen is the accessories chosen in the same aqua of the stools. This brings in a sense of cohesiveness to the design. I love everything she selected and it appears ultra-glam
The finished product looks high-end and expensive, but as Deb informed me, this kitchen reno was done a budget by using big box cabinetry. I think anyone would look at the fantastic work and see a luxe, expensive kitchen, inspired solely by these fantastic stools.
The same bar stools in a different colour, from Wicker Emporium, were also the inspiration for the creation of the newest CDECA Trade Show Booth. CDECA’s new branding included grey, black, and white and red, thus the red stools took centre stage.
