Go Beyond Traditional On Your Walls
One of the questions that I get asked a lot by my clients is “what should I put on my walls?” Often times, it’s just a matter of re-arranging what you already have to make the pieces cohesive or give better impact.
Something to think about is getting outside the box when looking for wall pieces that will make your room shine. For example, I just love these mirrors. Yes, they’re not traditional, in that you may not want to use them as your only “every day mirror” but they would be fabulous grouped in your front foyer. Often, you just need to check your hair or lipstick before running out the door and these mirrors provide enough sight area to make them useful and definitely enough wow factor to make them work beautifully.
Clocks are always a great piece to add to a wall. Think oversize, like this red vintage-looking clock. This clock would look great on its own, or pair it with a few unique items like a frame, a hanging wall candle and a fabulous piece of art. Eclectic, yet cohesive.
Sometimes your room requires texture. Our first thought is usually around pillows or throws. What about the walls? Try adding texture to those blank spaces. You will love the results. This metal sand dollar piece can be hung landscape or portrait. Very cool.
Your walls are useable space and also deserve something beyond traditional mirrors and paintings. Try to think outside the box and get creative, you’ll love it.
Keep it Beautiful.
