Rustic Glam Christmas Decor at Wicker Emporium
This week saw the first flurry of snowflakes for many in Nova Scotia. Summer is a distant memory. Alas, it’s time to pack away the flip flops and dust off the Winter boots. I have been thinking about holiday decor for a few months now. We did our first Christmas photo shoot last week at the Wicker Emporium photo studio. This week we are participating in “Festival of Trees”, a fundraiser for the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. Our tree is called “Nordic Splendour” and I am looking forward to the decorating event this Thursday in Halifax.
Wicker Emporium stores are all aglow with a glittering selection of ornaments, candles, votive holders, wreaths and more. Choosing a theme for our photo shoot was hard, with so much fabulous Christmas decor on offer but I finally decided on a soft gold and ivory rustic/glam theme. This year glitter is king. By the end of the shoot even my feet were glowing after removing my shoes to climb a ladder to wrangle the gorgeous gold drapes into place.
