How to Incorporate 2015 Decor Trends
Chrome and brushed cool metals have dominated the decor world but gold tones are making a comeback, brushed gold especially. A statement mirror or table is an easy way to introduce gold into your decor. Pair gold with cobalt blues, ruby reds and olive green which will be on trend this year.
Saturated jewel tones
Rich blues, teals and ruby reds take over from the pastels of past Springs. If you don’t want to commit to painting a room in these dramatic tones, incorporate fabrics and accessories.
No matchy, matchy here. Mixing scale and pattern is an inexpensive way to freshen your rooms.
Florals are back, mixing small and large prints with solids for a fun look that will brighten the dreary days of Winter. Pair with a smaller scale ikat or herringbone for an eclectic look.
Pantone colour of the year 2015 - Marsala
There has been much talk in the design and decor world about Pantone’s colour of the year, Marsala. Marsala is an earthy hue, inspired by the wine of the same name.
Not quite marsala but in that tone, are the fabulous new slipcovers from Wicker Emporium. These fit like a glove and when I first saw them in store I thought it was a new upholstered chair. The toggle close detail is so on-trend too.
We always love to see how you incorporate new Wicker Emporium decor and furnishings into your space. Send your photos to email@example.com, share them on our Facebook Page, tweet them to us @WickerEmporium, or tag us on Instagram or Pinterest. Most of all...have fun!
