One Curtain Two Ways
I’m always trying to find a way to repurpose items and use them in a different way in and around my home. Isn’t it fun to find something and use it in a way that you never imagined?
That is what I did with these beautiful curtains from Wicker Emporium. I love the chevron pattern and I knew that they would look great hung in any window, but I had something different in mind. I wanted the versatility of being able to use them as a shower curtain or hang them in my dining room when the mood hit.
Last summer I overheard a customer at Wicker Emporium asking an associate if they carried shower curtains. The associate explained that they did not. They did however, have an endless display of stunning curtains. Overhearing that conversation was what inspired me to write this post.
Here is the easiest one step DIY ever. Using curtains as a shower curtain:
I threaded two curtains onto the shower curtain rod. They glided right on because of the large rings and were installed in just minutes.
- Because I wanted to switch up the curtains from the bathroom to the dining room, hemming them was not an option. For this reason, I used the length of the curtains to add a luxurious feel to the bathroom. I brought them up until the curtain just barely touched the floor and was so pleased with the lavish look it created.
- I would suggest that you add another rod with a plastic curtain behind the shower curtain to protect the fabric.
Wicker Emporium curtains used two different ways. It’s easy, it’s affordable and it’s a quick way to change up the décor in any room.
